Program Objectives Improve the quality of life of First Nations by means of investments in infrastructure.

  • Negotiate contribution agreements with First Nations.
  • Coordinate delivery with federal-department programs, as well as for the latter with First Nations.
  • Ensure compliance with ICP national objectives and federal statutes, policies and regulations.

  • Develop consistent communication messages and products about federal infrastructure participation.

  • Improved community infrastructure via the introduction of better safety measures; increased number of affordable housing units; promotion of Canadian culture and heritage; promotion of minority official-language communities
