Île-des-Soeurs Air Quality Report - May 2018

Note: The results for May 2018 show that on 11 days the level of particle pollution exceeded the acceptable levels established by the Government of Canada. It has been confirmed that this was not as a result of construction activities for the new Champlain Bridge. The particle pollution was caused by dirt removal using heavy machinery for an unrelated project and the disruption of dirt and dust by vehicles at an unpaved parking lot, both located in close proximity to the air quality monitoring station.
