Asterix (*): Indicates that the reading on this day exceeded the stated threshold.

Note: The results for March 2019 show that on 8 days the level of particle pollution exceeded the acceptable levels established by the Government of Canada. It has been confirmed that this was not solely as a result of construction activities for the Samuel De Champlain Bridge. Several exceedances of PMtot measured at the Île-des-Soeurs station are due to the close proximity of the air quality monitoring station to the access road of Highway 10 from the roundabout of the Pointe-Nord road, where particles accumulated during the winter are put in suspension by vehicles as they pass by. An unpaved parking lot located in close proximity to the air quality monitoring station also contributed to particle pollution.
