Brossard Air Quality Report - June 2016
Levels that exceeded acceptable thresholds for air quality were recorded during the month of June at the air quality monitoring station in Brossard. These levels were due in part to construction of the east approach to the new Champlain Bridge. As a result, Signature on the Saint Lawrence (SSL) has put in place important additional dust control measures to assure that all applicable air quality standards for the sector are maintained.
The additional measures include paving of the access points and roads on the worksite, construction of wash stations for the wheels and engines of work vehicles at the exits of the worksite, seeding and covering of soil piles and the continuous cleaning of roads.
