Brossard Air Quality Report - May 2018

Note: The results for May 2018 show that on six days the level of particle pollution exceeded the acceptable levels established by the Government of Canada. It has been confirmed that this was not solely as a result of construction activities for the new Champlain Bridge.  Several exceedances of PMtot measured at the Brossard station are due to the close proximity of the air quality monitoring station to the access road to Road 132 East coming from Highway 10 where an accumulation of particles that built up over the winter are being put in suspension by vehicles as they pass by.
