We will adopt the new Buy Canadian policy and prioritize projects that use Canadian lumber, steel, aluminum, and mass timber.

Canada needs to build on our strong workforce to build our communities strong. As Build Canada Homes catalyzes a more productive housing industry, notably on federal lands, we will provide additional consideration to organizations providing apprenticeships and unionized labour as Build Canada Homes delivers on its ambitious agenda. Build Canada Homes will continue to assess where opportunities to enable the success of the workforce sector exist.
