Transfer Payment Program: Gas Tax Fund
Service Standard: Gas Tax Fund Payments
- Issue the first semi-annual payment by the later of July 15, or within 20 business days after issuance of a funding letter by the Minister. If the standard will not be met, the recipient will be contacted on the delay.
- Issue the second semi-annual payment within 20 business days after Infrastructure Canada's acceptance of the Annual Report. If the standard will not be met, the recipient will be contacted on the delay.
Performance Target
- Infrastructure Canada aims to meet this service standard 80 percent of the time.
Performance Results
- From January 1, 2015 to March 31, 2015, Infrastructure Canada met this service standard 100 percent of the time. (Infrastructure Canada only started to track the performance of its transfer payment service standards effective January 1, 2015. As such, results for the First, Second and Third Quarters of 2014-15 are not available).
Service Standard: Annual Report Notification for Gas Tax Fund
- Notify recipients within 10 business days of receipt of the Annual Report of any deficiencies (missing data, sections, audit statements, etc.). If the standard will not be met, the recipient will be contacted on the delay.

- Deliver to the Oversight Committee by May 1 of each year an annual summary of GTF communications activities undertaken during the previous calendar year, along with any proposed changes to the joint annual communications approach.

Transfer Payment Program: Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component–National and Regional Projects (PTIC–NRP)
Service Standard: Business Case Acknowledgement for Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component–National and Regional Projects
- Acknowledge receipt of project business cases in writing within 10 business days. If the standard will not be met, the proponent will be contacted on the delay.

- Infrastructure Canada aims to meet this service standard 80 percent of the time.

- Send an initial draft contribution agreement to the recipient within 30 business days of the date of the Minister's approval-in-principle letter. If the standard will not be met, the recipient will be contacted on the delay.

Service Standard: Project Eligibility Review for Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component–Small Communities Fund
- Provide response to provinces/territories on the eligibility of proposed projects within 30 business days of receipt of the list of projects. If the standard will not be met, the province/territory will be contacted on the delay.

Service Standard: Acknowledgement of Reporting Requirements for Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk Highway Program
- Acknowledge receipt of the following reports within 5 business days and provide a response by e-mail within 20 business days:
- Annual progress reports;
- Audit reports; and
- Significant environmental and/or aboriginal consultation reports.
- If the standard will not be met, the recipient will be contacted on the delay.
