INVESTING IN CANADA PLAN
ANNEX A: OVERVIEW OF FUNDING BY FEDERAL DELIVERY PARTNERS

Annex A includes a donut-shaped graph that provides an overview of funding of the 12-year, $187 billion Investing in Canada Plan, by federal delivery partner. Of the $99 billion in program funding allocated to Infrastructure Canada (INFC), $38.5 billion has been committed to projects.

The Canada Infrastructure Bank, an independent Crown Corporation, has been allocated $15 billion in program funding, Indigenous Services Canada has been allocated $23.6 billion, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation has been allocated $32.8 billion, and the remaining other federal delivery partners have been allocated $17.3 billion. Of the $88.7 billion in program funding for non-INFC federal delivery partners, $18.1 billion has been committed to projects. As of October 2019, over $57.5 billion in federal support for over 52,000 projects had been approved.

ANNEX B: PROJECT MAP

Figure 1 is a representation of the map of Canada, which shows a total of 59 projects across the country that have been funded under the Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation Fund. The projects are indicated by natural disaster category such as Erosion, Wildland Fire, Flood, Drought, Permafrost Thaw, Extreme Temperatures, Earthquake, And Other. In British Columbia, there is one earthquake project and five flood projects; in Alberta, there are four flood projects; in Saskatchewan, there are three flood projects and two wildland fire projects; in Manitoba, there is one flood project and one permafrost thaw project; in Ontario, there are 18 flood projects, three erosion projects, one extreme temperatures project, and one drought project; in Quebec, there are seven flood projects, two erosion projects, and one drought project; in New Brunswick, there are three flood projects; in Nova Scotia, there are two flood projects; in Newfoundland and Labrador, there is one flood project; and in Northwest Territories, there is one flood project, one permafrost thaw project, and one wildland fire project.
