Completed Housing Needs Assessments
Municipalities with a population of 30,000 or greater are required to complete a Housing Needs Assessment (HNA) using a federal template in order to be eligible for federal infrastructure funding programs. Territories are required to complete a Territorial Housing Needs Assessment (THNA).
Links to completed HNAs and THNAs can be found in the sections below. Each assessment is available in the official language and file format chosen by the municipality or territory. The year in brackets beside each municipality shows when the assessment was completed. Missing links will be added once received.

Quebec
Quebec municipalities are not required to complete an HNA using the federal template in order to be eligible for federal infrastructure funding programs.
Instead, Quebec's administrative regions have developed Regional Housing Profiles produced by the Société d'habitation du Québec (Portraits régionaux de l'habitation), which provide an overview of the housing market in the region in terms of supply and demand and describe the region's housing needs.
