Canada Community-Building Fund in Québec
The Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF) provides up-front, predictable long-term funding to help address local infrastructure priorities. The renewal of this 10-year agreement was announced on June 12, 2024. Over the next five years, the CCBF will invest over $2.8 billion in the province of Québec.
CCBF supports community growth by providing funding to infrastructure projects that can contribute to the increase of housing supply and affordability.
Information for previous years is available at Canada's open portal: Canada Community-Building Fund Municipal Allocations.
Canada-Québec Administrative Agreement
The renewal of this agreement means that the critical infrastructure that supports housing will continue to be built, maintained, and expanded in Québec.
Additional information
- CCBF funding is allocated to Québec municipalities through the Programme de la taxe sur l'essence et de la contribution du Québec (TECQ), which is administered by the Société de financement des infrastructures locales du Québec (available in French only).
